Curated in the very details
The installation featured a 15-meter-diameter sphere mounted on a 14-meter external-diameter ring with a 22-meter-high chalice-shaped fabric structure.
It was crafted from technical polyester fiber fabric and micro-perforated mesh, chosen for their lightweight and durable properties. The white color allowed for video projections narrating Qatar's history, complemented by choreographies, light shows, lasers, and pyrotechnics.
The sphere, powered by a dual-motor system, and the ring, with four motors at cardinal points, achieved fluid and synchronized movements, creating a breathtaking visual effect.
The lightweight materials enable large-scale structures without complex support systems, reducing costs and setup time. Inflatable designs are portable and easy to assemble, providing a practical, versatile solution for visually impactful events.
