A unique installation, 60 meters of pure immersion
Rome has always been the city of wonders, but this time it has outdone itself by transforming the old Gazometro by Eni - the Italian leading Oil & Gas player, into a structure worthy of Tony Stark. A unique installation that evokes the legendary ARC Reactor from the famous movie "Iron Man."!
Imagine entering the beating heart of this structure, wrapped in a 20-meter-diameter red inflatable cover, which made it possible to create a 60-meter-long multimedia gallery with a projection surface of 3,000 square meters.
Immersed in a world of multimedia and audiovisual content, visitors had the opportunity to explore the conceptual model of a Tokamak, a crucial component of the Magnetic Confinement Fusion process. Through engaging projections and compelling storytelling, a new perspective on energy was presented, one that is cleaner, safer, and virtually limitless.
But behind all this is much more than just an air structure: created in collaboration with the international design and innovation studio CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati and architect Italo Rota, the project required 700 hours of work and the use of various materials including Nylon and transparent PVC, demonstrating the operational capability, execution experience, and innovative vision that a company like NASO has been able to provide.
